Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good and restorable shrinking effect of a web film without applying undesirable load to the film web in controlling stretching of the film web.
SOLUTION: A packaging method and a packaging apparatus are provided for a packaged product packaged by using a continuous moving packaging web. The web is processed into a packaging tube, which is provided with a cross seal and is separated into a packaged product. The packaging web, i.e., film web, is stretched before being folded in order to get a shrink back effect after the cross seal is provided. The shrink back effect enables a tightly fit packaging.
