To provide a packaging bag improved in moisture barrier properties, excellent in a combination of unsealing properties by tearing and rigidity, and further excellent in a combination of the unsealing properties and environmental stress cracking resistance.

The packaging bag is formed of a laminate composed of an outer layer film made of an oriented plastic film and an inner layer film consisting of a single layer, or of a multi-layer, made of an olefinic resin. In this packaging bag, at least one layer of the inner layer film is made of an ethylenic polymer whose density is 0.930 g/cm3 or more, and steam permeability (40°C, 90%RH) of the laminate is at most 1.50 g/m2.day. Thus, the packaging bag is excellent in moisture barrier properties.
