A packaging body comprises a front panel (12) disposed along the front face (2) of the item (1) to be wrapped, and a rear panel (13) disposed along the rear face (3) thereof. The upper and lower end edges (16 and 20) of the front panel (12) are connected and fix to the upper and lower end edges (19 and 22) of the rear panel (13) via connecting panels (17 and 21). Windows (23 and 24) are defined in the connecting panels (17 and 21), near the end edges (16 and 20). Parts of the item (1) to be wrapped are disposed so as to stick out from the windows (23 and 24) and the item (1) is held in position by the peripheral edges of the windows (23 and 24).
