Abstract:
To provide a packaging machine with an ultrasonic sealing device capable of realizing a belt seal having various sealing properties such as a seal width and a seal strength of a belt-shaped seal without replacing the ultrasonic sealing device.SOLUTION: While an ultrasonic sealing device 1 applied as a transverse sealing device to a cylindrical packaging material Ft performs an ultrasonic sealing operation, an ultrasonic horn 2 and an anvil 3 of the ultrasonic sealing device 1 are moved in a direction crossing the transverse seal by a moving device. Since feeding of the cylindrical packaging material Ft is stopped, a relative movement with the cylindrical packaging material Ft is caused by a movement of the ultrasonic sealing device 1, and seal width Sw of a belt-like seal can be changed. By changing the strength of the ultrasonic seal during the movement, it is possible to change a strength of the seal to a seal width Sw direction. Only one of the ultrasonic horn 2 and the anvil 3 of the ultrasonic sealing device 1 may be moved by the moving device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
