Abstract:
To provide a packaging machine and a mark control method that make it possible to eliminate the need for rigorous and complicated work when setting a packaging material joining device (splicer), in the packaging machine to which the jointed packaging material is supplied, by adjusting a position of a mark near a joint region upstream of sealing (top sealing) means of the packaging machine while conveying the packaging material.SOLUTION: A packaging machine has packaging material supply means that supplies a continuous packaging material by joining a tip of a second packaging material to a rear end of a first packaging material, a sensor that detects a mark provided on the packaging material on the upstream side of sealing means, and mark control means that can at least execute timing control to match the mark with the reference mark timing. In timing control, a phase difference from the mark position to the corresponding mark timing is measured, and a conveyance speed of packaging material conveyance means is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
