PURPOSE: To pack a product with a set of shock absorbing material and an outer lagging sheet without using tape or the like.

CONSTITUTION: The opposite sides of a product 1 are held between a set of shock absorbing elements 2, 2 and the outer peripheries of the elements 2, 2 are wrapped with a belt-shaped outer lagging sheet 3. In the material 2, there are provided a holding groove 15 for holding the product 1 and a recess 16 for insertion of an end of the sheet 3, and a plurality of protrusions 17 are provided on the bottom side and front and rear sides of the material 2. A bottom surface 4 is provided on the central portion of the sheet 3 and a front surface 5, upper half surface 6, and folding piece 7 are provided, side by side, on one side of the sheet 3, and on the other side thereof, there are provided a rear surface 8, upper half surface 9, and folding piece 10, side by side. A plurality of holes 11 are provided in the surfaces 4, 5, 8 corresponding to the protrusions 17 on the side of the materials 2. A gripper 12 which is bent to the side of the piece 7 at the time of packing is provided on the surface 6 and a gripper 12 which is bent to the side of the piece 10 at the time of packing is provided on the surface 9. A locking piece 13 is provided on the piece 7 and a slit 14 for insertion of the piece 13 is provided on the side of the piece 10 to lock the piece 13 in the slit 14.
