To form a packaging body of a favorable shape while preventing a gripping thread from becoming an obstruction at the time of bending by a method wherein a long-sized sheet having a liquid permeability, and the gripping thread to the leading end of which a tag is attached, and which is attached to the sheet in a manner to go across the sheet, are provided, and a slack part is provided at an intermediate part of the gripping thread.
This packaging material 1 is equipped with a sheet 2 and a plurality of gripping threads 3, and for the sheet 2, a long-sized material having a liquid permeability and flexibility is used. For the gripping thread 3, a tag 4 is attached to the leading end, and the gripping thread 3 is attached to the sheet 2 together with the tag 4. The attaching of the gripping thread 3 is performed by an ultrasonic welding, and at the same time, the tag 4 and the rear end 5 of the gripping thread 3 are fixed by the ultrasonic welding, and by doing so, the gripping thread 3 is attached in the direction which crosses with the longitudinal direction of the sheet 2 and in a manner to go across the sheet 2. An intermediate part of the gripping thread 3 is provided into a curved state, and is made a slack part 6. Also, a cutting line 7 to cut the packaging material 1 in the direction which is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, in order to form a packaging body, is formed.
