To convert sawdust from sawmills and scrap wood, obtained from pulled down buildings and conventionally disposed as wastes, in the form of wood chips, sawdust, powders thereof or granular wood into a fuel for wood stoves or wood-burning boilers thereby to provide a neat, safe and clean wood fuel which is easy to convey and contributes to protection of wood sources and the environment.
Powdery or granular wood such as sawdust or wood chips is accommodated in a sealable paper bag or a film such as cellophane paper, or the like and air in the paper bag is removed to solidify the powdery or granular wood such as sawdust or wood chips. Thus, the powdery or granular wood can be burned safely and cleanly in wood stoves. The packed fuel is burned using a basket, obtained by using a net or a punching net, to assure securer, safer, neater and cleaner combustion.
