Abstract:

To improve transmission efficiency by avoiding failure of restoration of an IP header.

A mobile terminal 10 is provided with: a radio control unit 12 having an IP header compressing function and controlling radio communication with a radio network control device 30; a packet communication management unit 13 for monitoring the communication status with the device 30, and stopping supply of transmission packets to the unit 12 upon detecting a communication error; and an IP header compression control unit 14 for instructing the unit 12 to synchronize information for decompressing the compressed IP header with the unit 30, when the packet does not reach the device 30 due to the communication error.
