This packing apparatus has a holding part 4 for holding a bag 3, an air-sending part above the holding part 4 which blows air into the bag 3, and a guide part 2 for guiding an object, such as a vegetable, into the bag 3. The guide part 2 is provided in such a manner as to be movable up and down along the holding part 4. When moved down, the lower end of the guide part 2 plunges into the bag 3 and, moreover, an expanding means makes the guide part 2 open wide. A forcing means at all times exerts an upwardly acting force on the guide part 2.
