This packing for construction is disposed between the concrete foundation such as a continuous footing and the beam-like bed fixed on the foundation. The packing is formed of a comblike thin plate having a plurality of legs and connecting parts connecting the legs to be parallel to each other. The connecting part is formed with a plurality of cutting notches formed at designated spaces between them in the leg connecting direction. When one or a plurality of packings are disposed in layers between the foundation and the bed, at least the end of the notch can be blocked up with a coating material such as putty.
