This packing 1 for the cooking stove includes the first protruded part 3, the second protruded part 4, a mounting part 5, and an elastomer having a cross-sectional shape of an inclined part 6, freely deformable, and formed into a rod-like shape, and the whole thereof has adhesiveness. The first protruded part 3 is pushed into a clearance 40 between the frame 33 of the cooking stove and a top plate 36 thereof, using the elastic deformation, when installed in the cooking stove, the mounting part 5 is mounted on the top plate 36, the packing 1 for the cooking stove is pressed onto the frame 33 and the top plate 36 while the second protruded part 4 is laid along an outer face of the frame 33. The packing 1 for the cooking stove is brought into close contact with the top plate 36 and the like, by this constitution, and is hardly shifted thereby from the clearance 40. The packing 1 for the cooking stove is prevented from getting contaminated, since a gentle slope is formed from the frame 33 toward the top plate 36 by the inclined part 6.
