To provide an economical packing and filling apparatus that secures a long-term operation of the apparatus, and includes a highly reliable filling pump.
The packing and filling apparatus includes a carrying device for carrying a container, the filling pump 4, a filling pipe, a nozzle, and a device for moving the container. The filling pump includes: a cylinder 2; a piston 1 that fits into with the cylinder and freely moves forward and backward; a diaphragm 3 that is tensed over a gap between an end part of the front and back of the piston, and the cylinder; and a decompression device. The decompression device includes a suction pump 8 that decompresses an internal space 10 partitioned by an external wall of the diaphragm and the piston, and an internal wall of the cylinder; a suction pipe 5 communicating the internal space with the suction pump; a retention valve 7 provided in the suction pipe; a pressure detection sensor 6 in communication with the suction pipe between the internal space and the retention valve; and a control/display means 9 that transmits a control/display signal based on a detection signal from the pressure detection sensor.
