To obtain packing materials for an entrance door, which hardly cause collapse, produce little waste and enable the entrance door to be packed within a short period of time, by mounting cushioning materials in the vicinity of four corners of a corrugated board sheet having a size substantially identical to the surface of a door main body, and forming the cushioning materials so as to have height substantially identical to the height of a knob of the entrance door.
In case of packing an entrance door 4 comprising a door main body 41 and a knob 42, cushioning materials 3, each comprising a synthetic resin foam 31 and a transfer-preventing material 32 bonded to the surface of the foam 31, are first directed to the entrance door 4, and the entrance door 4 is held from both sides thereof with entrance door packing materials 1 and is bound with binding materials 5. At this binding time, since the cushioning materials 3 have substantially the same height as that of the knob 42, the knob 42 does not inferfer with binding work, and the entrance door 4 can be held with the entrance door packing materials 1. Further, since the cushioning materials 3 have the transfer-preventing materials 32 mounted thereon and since the synthetic resin foams 31 have suitable elasticity, the door main body 41 is hardly flawed even in the case where the cushioning materials 3 abut against the entrance door 4.
