PURPOSE: To prevent the breakage of the corners of a packing case caused by the pressing force of bands when they are wound around the case and thus contrive the saving of the physical labor required for repacking, etc., by a method wherein a folding line is formed near and parallel to the upper edge of a box-like outer case on the pad fastening side.
CONSTITUTION: An inner folding line 5a is formed on the upper edge of an outer case 2 and another folding line 6 is formed on the inside of the side wall of the case parallel to and about 10mm below the folding line 5a. In this way, on the inside near the upper edge of the outer case 2, the folding line 6 is formed in addition to the folding line 5a inside the corner parts and in a lower position therefrom. Therefore, in an integral packing of a bottom case 1 and the outer case with bands 4, the corner parts of the case 2 are folded into a polygonal form at the two places of the folding lines 5 (5a) and 6 by the pressing force applied from the bands 4 when they are tightened in order to spread out such pressing force received by these two places, thereby preventing the breakage of the corner parts.
