PURPOSE: To preserve a photosensitive material for a long period under high- temp. and high-humidity conditions without adversely affecting the photographic performance and to easily incinerate the spent packing material by providing a layer having an inorg. material vapor-deposited layer on a flexible sheet layer.
CONSTITUTION: When a moisture-proof and light-shielding packing material is designed, at least one layer furnished with an inorg. material vapor-deposited layer 3 on a flexible sheet layer 4 is provided. In this case, it is preferable that the vapor-deposited layer 3 and the flexible sheet 4 are laminated on a flexible sheet B5 through an adhesive 2, and a flexible sheet A2 is laminated thereon to constitute the packing material. Meanwhile, at least one outermost layer is preferably formed with a thermoplastic resin and contains a light shielding substance. Cr2O3, SixOy, etc., are used for the inorg. material vapor- deposited film, and the film is formed by the high-frequency induction heating method, electron-beam method, plasma method, etc. The thickness of the vapor- deposited film is preferably controlled to 400-2000 or more preferably to 500-1800.
