To provide a package 1A for a solar battery panel, the packing body 1A being configured to correctly position side pads 20 within an outer case 10, thereby easily housing and packing a large solar battery panel P in a predetermined position within the outer case 10.
The package 1A for a solar battery panel includes: the outer case 10; the pair of foam resin side pads 20, left and right, which have a plurality of parallel grooves 22 into which the side edges of housed solar battery panels P are inserted; a foam resin bottom pad 30; and a foam resin top pad 40. Each side pad 20 has a U-shaped horizontal cross-section formed by a rear wall 21 with the grooves 22 formed therein, and left and right side walls 23 located on both sides of the rear wall 21. When the pair of side pads 20 are arranged opposite to each other within the outer case 10, the bottom pad 30 is disposed between the lower ends of the pair of side pads 20. Thereby, the lower ends of the pair of side pads 20 are restricted from free movement.
