Abstract:
To obtain a packing member designed such that a judgment can be made without attaching an impact sensor whether impact exceeding a permissible impact value set for a packed member has been applied or not.
Impact receivers 20 covering a magnetic tape cartridge 10 is plastically deformed according to impact applied to them. When receiving impact within a predetermined impact value, each of the impact receivers 20 is deformed to the position of a marking 28. When receiving impact exceeding the predetermined impact value, each receiver 20 is deformed beyond the position of the marking 28.
