In a clothing press-finishing machine 3, clothing is press-finished by a lower iron 1 for placing clothing and an upper iron 2 for pressing the top face of the lower iron 1, and this pad for the lower iron is provided on the top face of the lower iron 1. In this pad for the lower iron, a silicon mat 4 is disposed in the lower layer, and a flannel sheet 5 is superposed on the silicon mat 4. The top face of the flannel sheet 5 is covered with a cover 6 made of heat resisting fiber.
