Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a page turning device inexpensive and capable of stably turning pages.SOLUTION: The page turning device includes: a turning part turning a media by making frictional force act on media constituting a booklet; and a conveyance part conveying the booklet into the turning part and conveying the booklet out from the turning part. The turning part performs pre-turning for moving the media to an adjacent media by making the frictional force act on media to be turned at a period before turning the media and while conveying the booklet by the conveyance part. A turning roller 261 performs the pre-turning during conveying a passbook 70. The turning roller 261 performs regular turning after stopping conveyance of the passbook 70.
