Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a page turning mechanism, which is reliable without reference to the width and length of a passbook, etc., in an apparatus for handling the passbook, etc.
SOLUTION: A motor 12 for moving a page turning roller shaft rotates and drives a driving page turning roller shaft 11 via a pinion 16 and a rack part 17, in accordance with information on the width of the carried passbook 7; and a movable page turning roller 9, which is mounted on a shaft 11, is moved to a position at an interval for bringing about an optimal balance. After that, a motor 14 for page turning rotation rotates a fixed page turning roller shaft 10, so that a fixing page turning roller 8 and the roller 9 can be rotated, so that the page of the passbook can be turned.
