PURPOSE: To improve the portability and operability of a portable telephone set.

CONSTITUTION: A call signal received by an antenna 1 is demodulated by a reception section 2 and the result is stored in a RAM 5. The RAM 5 stores telephone numbers of opposite parties and names of them. When a dial button 8 is closed, a telephone number and its name stored in the RAM 5 are transferred to a portable telephone set as infrared ray data from a stimulation section 13 via a data transmission section 12. Upon the receipt of the data, the portable telephone set starts dialing to the telephone number automatically.
