PURPOSE: To detect a page renewal and a paper terminal stably, by setting up both paging and paper terminal marks in each position apart from a fold of fanfold electrostatic recording paper, and also setting up a paper sensor in a position where a time lag of detection is corrected.
CONSTITUTION: Electrostatic recording paper 9 is traveled by a paper feeding mechanism part 5 via a recording head part 6 and a developing part 10. A paper sensor of a paper sensor circuit 12 is approximated to the recording paper 9 and detects the paging mark or the paper terminal mark printed on the backside of the recording paper 9. Here, when the recording paper 9 is of fanfold paper, the said mark is set up in position apart from a fold. If so, when the paper sensor of the paper sensor circuit 12 detects the said mark, it is able to avoid such a part as getting into a fold way. In consequence, both the said marks are detectable stably all the time.
