Abstract:
To provide a coating dryer of very high energy efficiency.
This coating dryer 1 is disposed in an automobile manufacturing factory generating drained hot water X, and is provided with: a drying furnace 2 for drying the coating by applying hot air to a coated body; a cooling furnace 4 for cooling the coating by applying cold air to the body; a heat pump 10 heating hot water for heating the air to produce the hot air, and cooling the cold water for cooling the air for producing the cold air; and a heat exchanger 30 for heating the cold water by the drained hot water X by introducing the cold water and the drain hot water X therein to exchange heat.
