Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of scissors which can make a right-angled cut with respect to a side of a cutting object with no marking of a cutting line to the cutting object or with only a marking of a cutting start point, make a succeeding straight-line cut, and produce little curve in a cut area of the cutting object after cutting.SOLUTION: In a pair of scissors with a pair of bodies coupled so as to be rotatable on a pivot, the top of a lower body handle 12 is provided with a linear guide 16 to guide a feed of a cutting object, a first cradle 24 that keeps a stem fixed on an outside surface of the lower body and extends outward from the stem by the height of a blade of the lower body to bear the cutting object, a linear guide 31 to position the edge of the cutting object, and a second cradle 27 that extends outward of an upper body to bear the cutting object.
