Abstract:
PURPOSE: To efficiently execute changing a pallet and a workpiece by a rotary type 2-face pallet magazine of simple and inexpensive structure.
CONSTITUTION: In a horizontal machining center for changing a pallet by vertically placing a workpiece mounting face, an arm member 9 is 180° turned to be reciprocated by a drive shaft 8 in parallel to a direction of changing the pallet. A pair of pallet supporting bases 12, 13 are provided in the arm member 9, to arrange these bases turned alternately to a pallet change position A and a workpiece change position B. A differential gear mechanism, comprising sun gears 15, 16, intermediate gears 17, 19 and planet gears 18, 20, is provided in the inside of the arm member 9. Attitudes of the pallet supporting base 12 turned in an upper side and of the pallet supporting base 13 turned in a lower side are changed respectively in an outward direction and in an inward direction associated with the arm member 9, to hold the workpiece mounting face Pa vertical in the pallet change position A and horizontal in the workpiece change position B.
