Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a transport device which can move pallets continuously by making speed change possible at each movement division and can move pallets from the ground surface without relation to the position of a movement division body and at the same time can also utilize the longitudinal space of a movement division body as a housing chamber for articles, in the case of a transport device in which a pallet on which articles can be mounted is moved.
CONSTITUTION: Roller support stands which has drive rollers 12 attached thereto axially while rotated by means of drive motors 16 for lateral travel, and which is provided with rails on both side surfaces of a pallet 17 are arranged at ascent/descent lifts 1, support stands 10 for advance and support stands 11 for return. The pallet 17 is moved to a support stand 10 for advance by means of an ascent/descent lift 1 through a carrying-in opening 18, and transport is conducted by means of the support stand 10 for advance, and transfer to a support stand 11 for return is conducted by means of an ascent/descent lift 1 at a carrying-out opening 19, and return to the ascent/descent lift 1 at the cararying-in opening 18 is carried out by means of the support stand 11 for return. In addition, a division body in the longitudinal direction of a support stand 10 for advance and a support stand 11 for return is made to be a housing chamber 22 for a pallet 17.
