PURPOSE: To provide a pallet formed in such a way as to be operated automatically and continuously for many hours and used for a wire cut electric discharge machining device allowing the workpiece clamping time of the pallet to be shortened.

CONSTITUTION: A pallet 14 is provided with an opening part formed at a pallet base plate 24 in such a way as to have area large enough to enclose a workpiece; a magnet chuck 61 rigidly fixed to the pallet base plate 24 and provided with a magnetic attracting face 62 brought into contact with one side face between two side faces for holding one corner of the workpiece in between and the magnetizing/demagnetizing means of the magnetic attracting face 62; a contact plate 65 rigidly fixed to the pallet base plate 24 and provided with a contact face brought into contact with the other side face between two side faces; and a fixing tool 67 having a fitting tool removable from the pallet base plate 24.
