PURPOSE: To provide a panel exciting device which can be installed in a small space while being suppressed low in the cost.

CONSTITUTION: A device for applying vibration to a panel 32 is provided with a vibrating plate 20 and a mass body 22 added to the vibrating plate 20. The vibrating plate 20 is formed of two plate like piezo-electric material 24, 25. Each peizolectric material is formed in such a way as to generate expansion force in the direction along the face at the time of applying voltage, and two peizoelectric material are attached to each other with an electrode 26 interposed in between. The vibrating plate 20 has plural slits extended toward almost the center form the outer periphery, and the vibrating plate 20 is fitted to the panel 32 at the outer peripheral part through spacers 34. The center part of the vibrating plate can be vibrated without being constrained by the panel 32.
