PURPOSE: To enable a photographer to distinctly recognize the difference from the present photographing region by moving a finder to a telephoto side showing vertical size or a wideangle end side showing the extent of a viewing angle and then setting the finder to panoramic magnification at the time of switching the finder to a panorama.
CONSTITUTION: The finder is varied in power by separating an objective lens into a negative lens 6 and a positive lens 7 and changing the interval between by an objective lens driving mechanism. When a changeover switch for the panorama is depressed, a photographic lens is moved to a wideangle side to obtain a maximum viewing angle state. Then, the finder is set to the magnification of the wideangle end. In this state, a horizontal photographing region is accurately displayed to express panoramic extent. Then, a visual field frame 5 is set in a panoramic format and the finder is made the panoramic magnification to obtain a panoramic view.
