Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability and reliability of a pantograph attitude controller without restriction in a layout by hydraulically detecting the inclination of a vehicle body and moving the pantograph by utilizing the hydraulic pressure.
SOLUTION: The pantograph attitude controller comprises a support base 2 of a pantograph 1 laterally movable with respect to the advancing direction on a roof, a holding cylinder 17 for laterally driving the base 2, an inclination detecting cylinder 22b for stroking in response to the relative inclination between a vehicle body 3 and a truck 4, and a circuit for communicating both the oil chambers of the cylinder 22b with both the oil chambers of the cylinder 17 to feed the hydraulic oil. At the time of controlling the inclination of the body 3, the oil from the cylinder 22b is supplied to the cylinder 17 to displace the pantograph 1 out of a curved route.
