PURPOSE: To ensure good current collection by holding a pantograph at a neutral position prior to inclination of vehicle by means of a pantograph suspension base guide, a rope provided with outer casing, tension imparting unit, and the like, and to realize optimal setting of the height of center of inclination or the inclination angle of the body.
CONSTITUTION: A pantograph 21 is secured onto a supporting base 12 such that it can move relatively to the body roof, perpendicularly to the advancing direction of a body 1, by means of a guide 15 and a slider 14. The guide 15 is arched with radius R around the center of inclination 2 so that the center line of the pantograph 21 directs toward the center of inclination 2 of the body 1 at all times and the relative shift between a collector head 22 and a trolley 23 is minimized. A pair of ropes 9 are fixed through a winding drum having a spiral spring 17 in a tension imparting device to the bottom face of the supporting base 12, in the center thereof, from the side beams of a truck frame 8 onto the roof along the side groove of the body. Outer casing 10 of the rope 9 is secured to the side groove of the body 1 at several points.
