Abstract:
To provide an underpants type absorbent article usable as a tape type one, and worn by a wearer with good wearability.SOLUTION: An underpants type absorbent article (1) for adults includes: an absorbent body (10); a waist member (20) having a front waist part (20f) and a rear waist part (20b) arranged overlapping the absorbent body (10) in a longitudinal direction, and expandable/contractable in a lateral direction; and engaging members (30) engaged detachably with a non-skin surface of the front waist part (20f). The front waist part (20f) and the rear waist part (20b) are connected. The engaging members (30) are connected to the front waist part (20f), and between both side edges (20fe, 20fe) in the lateral direction of the front waist part (20f), the front waist part (20f) has high elastic parts (20NA) having an elastic coefficient greater than that of a periphery in at least a part of overlap regions overlapping the engaging members (30) in a plane view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
