Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, handy-type paper binding machine capable of binding a plurality of pieces of paper without using a metal binding needle, glue, a string, or the like.SOLUTION: A paper binding machine comprises a pair of gears 2, 3 having a plurality of tooth parts 1, 1 engaging with each other on opposing outer peripheral surfaces respectively, and feeds paper 4 between the gears 2, 3 and binds the paper 4 by compressing the paper 4 between the tooth parts 1, 1 which are engaged by rotating the gears 2, 3. The gears 2, 3 are positioned and fixed so that the facing tooth parts 1, 1 engage with a pair of rotation support shafts 6, 7 which are integrated in parallel to a building frame 5. The rotation support shafts 6, 7 are rotatably integrated to the building frame 5 respectively. A handle 9 for rotating the rotation support shaft 6 in one direction through a one-way clutch 8 is attached to the rotation support shaft 6 among the rotation support shafts 6, 7.
