This paper box comprises a box main body C for storing a film 1 wound in a roll form on a core body 2 and a pair of supporting panels 7, 7 for supporting both ends of the core body 2 being inserted standing on both right and left sides in the box main body C. The right and left inner flaps 11, 11 of the main body C protrude in the main body M in length. M is a length for the bottom face of the panels 7, 7 to be wholly or more than wholly supported and for the bottom face of the film 1 not to be contacted by the tip end of the flaps 11, 11 in the maximum inclining angle expected when the flaps rise and rotate on their base end side by the load received through the panels 7, 7 with a film stored.
