Abstract:
To provide a paper bundle aligning device that forms one processing line with upstream-sided and downstream-sided paper processing device and can perform alignment processing of a paper bundle at high speed and stably.SOLUTION: A paper bundle aligning device comprises a frame 1 having a transport path 2 for a paper bundle S, in which the transport path consists of a first transport face 2a inclined to support one surface of the paper bundle and a second transport face 2b extending rectangular to the first transport face and inclined to support one side face of the paper bundle, and further comprises a carrier mechanism 3 that is provided on a frame and carries the paper bundle along the transport path, blowers 7a, 7b that are provided on the frame and connected to an air blow port opening in the second transport face through ducts 6a, 6b, an air-blow control mechanism 16 that controls the start/stop of air blow from the air blow port and the flow rate of air, in timing with a passage of the paper bundle through the air blow port, and a vibration mechanism 18 that is provided on the frame and vibrates the first transport face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
