Title:
PAPER FOR CHESTNUT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03155810
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the paper for a chestnut in which there is no danger for a parting other of the chestnut, and can pare mainly only a seed coat by leaving a nut by providing a pair of saw tooth-like first edges provided so as to oppose to each other, and a second edge having a knife edge in a part of a grip body, on the tip part of the grip body in which the tips are set so that they approach each other by pressing.

CONSTITUTION: At the time gripping and holding a paper 1 for a chestnut, the thumb and the forefinger are allowed to position in the respective finger stoppers 14 of a band body 12. A curved part of the finger stopper 14 becomes a stopper of the thumb and the forefinger, and also, combines a slip stopper of a hand, as well. From this state, by placing a first edge 20 so as to pierce a pericarp 52 of a chestnut 50 and an opening tip part of the grip body is pressed in the direction as indicated with an arrow. As a result, since the pericarp is inserted and held by the saw tooth-like edges, it will suffice to operate so as to draw and peel off from the nut. As for the pericarp, by drawing and peeling off two or three parts, the remaining whole can be detached easily. When the pericarp 52 is pared, subsequently, the parer for a chestnut is shifted from one hand to the other, and a second edge 40 is placed on a seed coat 54 of the chestnut 50, and moved lightly so as to slide it. As a result, a soft seat coat 54 can be pared simply.
