To provide a method for manufacturing a container the manufacturing cost for which is lowered by simplifying manufacturing process and which can be disposed of after use without causing environment problems.

The method for manufacturing the container comprises the steps of making a paper blank plate having the bottom part, the side wall part and the flange part connected continuously with one another from a paper material for a cup, introducing the blank plate in a vacuum-forming or pneumatic-press-forming die to make it into a semi-finished paper container and vacuum-forming or pneumatic-press-forming an inner protecting film comprising a thermoplastic resin under heating to stick the inner protecting film tightly to the whole inner surface of the container.
