An innermost layer of the paper container is an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer layer 3 polymerized by using a single-site catalyst. For a PE layer 2 as the outermost layer, for example, a high pressure low density polyethylene is used. The proper thickness of the PE layer 2 is approximately 5-50 μm. It is preferable to apply the corona treatment on the surface of the PE layer 2 for the purpose of providing printability. The proper basis weight of a paper base 1 is approximately 100-500 g/m2. As a sticking method for the ethylene/α- olefin copolymer layer 3 formed by using the single-site catalyst, a dry lamination method or a sand lamination method for a film manufactured by the extrusion lamination method, the T-die method, the inflation method of the like is used.
