Abstract:

To stably move a bumping part where the end of paper is bumped to the downstream side in the paper conveyance direction, and to correct the skew of the paper more favorably.

This paper conveyance apparatus has: a bumping part 300 that bumps the end of the paper conveyed from the upstream side in the paper conveyance direction to correct the skew of the paper; a second conveyance roll 45 that conveys the paper which is conveyed in the state of the end bumped to the bumping part 300 further to the downstream side; a spring 400 that is elastically deformed when the bumping part 300 moves toward the downstream side of the paper conveyance direction to add power toward the upstream side in the paper conveyance direction for the bumping part 300; and a moving part 700 that not only reciprocates the bumping part 300, where power is added by the spring 400 in the paper conveyance direction but also the end of the paper bumps the bumping part 300 which is moving toward the downstream side in the paper conveyance direction.
