Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided paper comer bend preventing mechanism by arranging a free passage space for a paper corner part in the part matching with a cas sette jaw in the width direction in a paper guide in the substantially top part of a U-turn conveying path on the inside.
SOLUTION: A paper sheet fed out from a paper feeder on the upper side or on the lower side is fed into paper conveying rollers. Therefore, the first U-turn conveying path 27 and the second U-turn conveying path 28 are positioned close to each other while putting the first U-turn paper guide 29 between them. The width of the first U-turn paper guide 29 is smaller than that of the second U-turn paper guide 30, and on both sides of the first U-turn paper guide 29, free passage areas 31 for curled parts (a) generated in the left and right corners at the tip of a paper sheet 12 are formed in the positions matching with a pair of left and right cassette jaws inside a paper feed cassette 2. In this way, the space for the second U-turn conveying path 28 can be used as the space for the free sections 31 for the curled parts (a) generated in the left and right corners at the tip of the paper sheet 12.
