To provide a paper cup in which a crack or the like is prevented from being generated at a vapor deposited film of non-organic oxide such as silicon oxide, aluminum oxide or the like constituting a transparent barrier film acting as a barrier raw material, occurrence of pin-holes or the like is completely eliminated, a superior barrier property for preventing oxygen gas and water vapor of the like from being passed through the paper cup is attained, a defective sealing and a liquid leakage or the like are prohibited when the pin-holes are generated, deterioration of the stored contents is prohibited, and it has a superior keeping property and storing property.
There is provided a paper cup composed of a cylindrical cup- barrel member and a bottom member for use in sealingly closing the bottom part of the cylindrical cup barrel member. This is a paper cup in which the cylindrical cup barrel member and the bottom member are constituted by a laminated member having at least the outermost layer; paper base material; an adhesive agent layer composed of two layers of polyolefin resin layer; a barrier-like layer constituted by a vapor deposited film of non-organic oxide and a gas barrier-coated film at one surface of the base material film; and the inner-most layer stacked in sequence.
