Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mechanism dehumidifying a paper by controlling the atomospheric temperature of plural supply trays arranged at the paper supply part of an electrophotographic copying machine or the like without directly heating them by a heating element.
CONSTITUTION: Two heating members 10 and 10a are arranged at the lowest part and one heating member 10b is arranged at an intermediate part with respect to the plural paper supply trays 5-7 arranged at the paper feeding part 2 of an image forming device 1. By supplying the electric power to the respective heating members, the temperature of the whole paper feeding part is controlled.The heating members are arranged the trays by making a heat reflecting plate or a heat insulating plate for interrupting the heat of the heating element intervene. By circulating the heat of the heating element by convection in the machine, the temperature of the whole paper supply part is controlled. Besides, the feeding of the heating members can be controlled by arranging a humidity sensor inside or at the side part of the image forming device.
