Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily replace a paper feed roller from the front side of a device.
SOLUTION: A paper feed roller 5 is constructed of a paper feeding roller unit 17, in which a roller which rotates while touching the upper face of a paper sheet in a paper feed tray so as to feed the paper sheet is fixed in a roller shaft 7, and a driving rotary shaft unit 18 which transmits a rotational force to the paper feed roller unit 17 on the depth side of a device main body. A shaft part 21 is formed in one end of the paper feed roller unit 17, while a shaft engaging hole 22, to which the shaft part 21 is inserted so as to be engaged, is formed in one end of the driving rotary shaft unit 18. The tip part of the shaft part 21 is formed into a tapering taper shaft part 21a, while a taper hole part 22a whose hole diameter is gradually reduced from the inlet toward the depth is formed in the inlet part of the shaft engaging hole 22. In this way, the paper feed roller unit 17 and the driving rotary shaft unit 18 are easily lugaged mutually by means of the taper parts formed in both of them.
