Abstract:
To provide a sheet feeder allowed to reduce sheet jamming by making a descent operation of a sheet to a delivery position by a delivery roller and a feed operation of the sheet by a feed roller separate in driving.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder 200 comprises: a loading tray 221 that loads a sheet S thereon; and a sheet feed unit 230 that has a delivery roller 231 for delivering the sheet S loaded on the loading tray 221, a feed roller 232 for feeding the sheet S delivered by the delivery roller 231, and a transport roller 235 for carrying the sheet fed by the feed roller 232 toward a predetermined transport direction. The sheet feeder is provided with: a feed motor 301 that rotatably drives the delivery roller 231 and the feed roller 232; and a transport motor 302 that rotatably drives the transport roller 235 and performs lifting driving on the delivery roller 231 above the loading tray 221.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
