To improve operational efficiency by enabling a large amount of paper sheets to load on a hopper portion of OA equipment or the like easily and in a short time.

A paper feeding cartridge 1 is used for a device having a hopper portion 8 where paper sheets 10 are loaded and a conveying portion which conveys the paper sheets 10 loaded on the hopper portion 8 and is independent of the device. The paper feeding cartridge 1 has a case portion 2 where the front face and the ceiling face are open, the bottom face 2a is a placement surface of the paper sheets 10 and the distance between both side faces 2b is substantially the same as the width of the paper sheets 10, and can be set to a given position of the hopper portion 8 of the device. The paper feeding cartridge 1 has a projecting portion 4 projecting downward from the bottom surface 2a of the case portion 2. When mounting the paper feeding cartridge 1 to the hopper portion 8 of the device, the projecting portion 4 is engaged with and guided by a groove portion 7 formed on the cartridge placement surface of the hopper portion 8 of the device.
