To provide a paper folding device in which a folding line is firmly formed on one part of paper, and capable of smoothly conveying paper after folding processing toward a downstream side of a folding processing position in a paper conveyance direction without causing problems such as jams.SOLUTION: Folding means has a lower guide plate arranged at a position facing a folding plate in a folding processing position, and an arrangement position of a rotary shaft of the folding plate is configured to be movable in a direction perpendicular to the lower guide plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
