Abstract:

To provide a paper stacking device capable of securely and stably stacking paper.

This paper stacking device 1 comprises an impeller 10 accepting and storing the paper P carried through a carrying route 3 between vanes during the rotation. A first sensor 21 detecting the passing of the paper and a second sensor 22 detecting that the edge of the paper reaches a stopper 13 are installed in the carrying route 3 before the impeller 10. After the passing of the paper is detected by the first sensor 21, if the passing of the paper is not detected by the second sensor 22 after a specified time is elapsed, the stacking is determined to be defective and the device is stopped.
