Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper path switching device whose space required for switching paper paths is small.SOLUTION: A paper path switching device includes: a conveyance path 210; a branching part 220; a horizontal conveyance path 230; a branching conveyance path 240; a roller 371 arranged at a position adjacent to the branching part 220 of the conveyance path 210 that contacts paper S and is rotationally driven; a lower side wall part 213 constituting a lower side that the paper S contacts in the conveyance path 210, which is provided with a plurality of ribs 211 and 212 that stand upward, are extendedly formed along the paper conveyance direction, and sandwich the paper S with the roller 371; and a paper guide 260 having a rotation fulcrum 261 at a position opposite to the conveyance path at the branching part 220 that can be arranged at a first position where the paper can move between the conveyance path and the horizontal conveyance path, and a second position where the paper can move from the conveyance path to the branching conveyance path.
