PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of defective articles and jam by preventing skew by correcting the paper position even in case of a paper sheet having a projection part an one side of the paper.
CONSTITUTION: An image forming device which forms an image on a paper sheet having a projection part on one side is equipped with a driving roll 32 installed in a paper transport passage 35, a plurality of driven rolls 33 arranged so as to be in free contact with the driving roll 32, operating arm 33 which supports each driven roll 33 so as to be separated from the driving roll 32, and a paper top edge part detecting sensor S which ia arranged oppositely to each driven roll 33 on the upstream side of a paper transport passage 35, and the driven roll 33 correspnding to the sensor which detects the paper projection part is retreated accordibg to the output time difference of each paper top edge part detecting sensor S.
